We believe strongly in the value of your time and won’t keep you waiting. We would appreciate 24 hours notice if you find it necessary to cancel your appointment. Appointments can be accepted 24 hours a day through the office or answering service.
Our telephones are answered 24 hours day. All phone calls should be directed to the main office number. In the event of an emergency, do not wait for the physician to return your call, call 911 and/or go to the nearest emergency room. They can contact the doctor. Either the office or the answering service will forward the message to the physician. Note that Dr. Shapiro may not be available 24 hours per day.
We participate and accept many plans, to include: Aetna, Affinity (NY), Amerigroup, Anthem , BC\BS, Champus, Cigna, Emblem, Empire Plan, Fidelis GHI PPO/EPO, Horizon, Magnacare, Oxford, Medicare/Medicaid, AllIntherapyclinic, Metroplus, Neighborhood Health Plan, Tricare and most Union plans. 1199, 32Bj, DC37. If you have other insurance coverage, we will be glad to help you in submitting your insurance claims for prompt reimbursement. Please understand that this is an agreement between you and the insurance company. You are responsible for the payment of your bill regardless of our filing the insurance claim.
We make every effort to keep down the cost of your health care. If you aren’t insured by a plan in which we participate, payment is expected at the time of service. For your convenience we accept Cash, Check, and major credit cards.
